Now that I've had this blog for 18 months and in that time posted exactly once, I think it's time I started feeding the machine. After all, without more content, how can I expect to reach my goals and have this blog optioned by a major motion picture studio?

Since my last post, not much has changed. Oh, Dave and I got engaged. So that's kind of a big deal. If legally being bonded to another person after spending 30 years as a proud independent person constitutes change.

One thing I love about Dave is that he values my independence -- and his own independence -- as much as I do. We love spending time together, sure...but we also love spending time apart. I think this is one of the keys to our happiness. Not being together.

The sole purpose of this blog is so it can be acquired by some media content company for millions, adapted like a screenplay and then turned into some indi-film wherein i am played by some Hollywood just-about-to-be-declared "It" Girl. In fact, she's so cutting edge hip, you don't even know her name and wouldn't recognize her on the street.

I'm a pretty compelling character. I'd buy my book. Or see my movie. Or whatever.
